Each Sunday morning, we cater for all ages of children, right from babies all the way up to teens and twenties. If you need more details, call us on 01704-531751.
When is it?
Sunday mornings during church service (10.30 am – 11.45 am)
Who are we?
Stepping Stones is a Sunday School created especially for 2 and 3 year olds who have outgrown crèche but not quite ready for Kidzone (Primary Sunday School). We provide a ‘free play’ setting with toys, puzzles, play-dough etc. whilst also introducing our children to some structure with bible stories, songs and prayers.
What happens?
The children are taken out of the church service after the children’s talk and we go across to the Grace Centre. We start our session with a simple craft or colour sheet which is related to our bible story. This is followed by juice and biscuit at the table after a short prayer giving thanks for our food and families etc. Whilst the children are settled and having their snack we tell our Bible story. This is followed by singing with band instruments. Before the parents collect the children we refocus on our bible story and finish with prayer.
Where?
Stepping Stones is located on the first floor of the annexe in the Grace Centre. We use a lovely bright crèche room well equipped and suitably decorated for our toddlers.
