Favourite Hymns

We love to sing at Grace. Sometimes we sing brand new songs, sometimes well known but contemporary hymns, and sometimes traditional hymns. This page contains a collection of our hymn singing going back many years.

What do you miss when you can’t be at church? Your friends? Being together to worship God? Hearing good preaching from the Bible? Or is it the singing? Singing hymns brings people together and let’s us share our faith and love for God. It is an integral part of our collective worship.

Here are some hymns for you to enjoy. They were recorded at Grace Baptist Church Southport over many years, and will bring back memories to many of us. The first hymn, for example (Thine be the Glory), was recorded in February 2005.

Just click on the links, and sing along…and look forward to when we can be together again to praise God.

If you click on the first hymn on the list, it will automatically continue playing all the rest in this album. We trust this playlist of hymns will be a blessing to you.

With special thanks to Dave Sutton, who recorded and archived all these recordings. And to Allen and Alyson Miller, who play the organ and piano accompaniment. We thank God for their service to the church.
