We meet as a group of amateur artists of varied abilities, learning water colour painting techniques. The group is led by members of Grace whose aim is to enjoy art in a friendly Christian atmosphere. The Art Group is open to all who wish to improve their painting skills.
When is it?
Normally the 1st Saturday in the month between 10am – 12am.
Who are we?
We are a group of amateur artists of varied abilities, learning water colour painting techniques. The group is led by members of Grace whose aim is to enjoy art in a friendly Christian atmosphere The Art Group is open to all who wish to improve their painting skills.
What happens?
Coffee, tea and biscuits are available on arrival. After a short Christian message we start painting. Each session takes the form of a step by step demonstration followed by each artist copying the example shown. Normally over two sessions a completed picture will emerge.
Where?
The Art Group meets in the Grace Centre. You will need to bring with you your own brushes, paint and paper.
Other details:
There is no charge made for instruction but we would be grateful for donations to help with running costs, and refreshments.
