Who are we?
Junior Church is a Sunday School Class for Primary School age children.
What happens?
We meet in the main hall. We follow a subject using material and each child has a workbook. We use interactive teaching to include the children, having a relevant Bible reading and memory verse. Approximately every six weeks we have a mission focus using the Grace Baptist Mission TOGO magazine, or using power point presentation on a missionary. Each week we take up an offering for the support of missions overseas. We have a prayer time and encourage the children to contribute to items of prayer and to participate with their own prayers.
Adventurers’ aim is to teach and apply God’s word, teaching children to respect and know how to use the word of God. To learn about God his attributes, the need of salvation, to grow and follow Jesus. Helping the children to feel confident to pray in all and for all situations, and teaching them to give to Gods work and giving them feedback on how any donations are being spent in missionary work.
